And this little piggy …

… loves Chocolate-Cherry-Berry ice-cream … but he doesn't like sprinkles!

Medium: Acrylic/Pencil (just in case you were wondering!)

What a great topic. I just finished reading "This Little Piggy's Book of Manners" written by Kathryn Allen and illustrated by the oh-so-talented Nancy Wolff. I just love her work! It's a great book by the way. Fab illos, fun read-aloud and great humor.

  5. This is a great illustration. Mmmm. I love ice cream too - but I'll take it with everything - sprinkles, cherries, chocolate syrup!! :)

    Love the little piggy's expression!

  6. Oh, I have to find that book!
What a great illo, and great technique as well. I didn't realize you could get those effects using acrylics and pencil... And it's a fun illo as well, love the pig nose and the look of glutony on the boys' face (totally understandble, though, just look at that delicious ice-cream!)
Oh, and thank you so much for you kind words on my illo! I love Betsy Lewin's work so that's a great compliment indeed! :-)
