This is my first contribution to Wa We I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it. The back to school topic hit close to home as my Granddaughters start school next week. I pictured my Daughter being so relieved that the fighting and bickering will stop as least for a while. She might retreat to the beach or in a bed of flowers and if Mexico was closer that might be the destination. My Granddaughter said I was mean by drawing this but sometimes the truth hurts... This was done with acrylics on Bristol board. I love color as you will see after a while. And if you want to see more and read my blog it is http://pennynoble.blogspot.com/ Have a great week and see you next week.....
What a fun piece. I can relate only its my teacher husband who is going back to school. ha ha. Great job. I can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteLovely work and the colors look beautiful, I think it even could be a wall painting in a nursery or school.
