2013 Banner Illustrators

Anyone interested in illustrating the Watercolor Wednesday banner in 2013? Everyone has done such a great job, and I really look forward to seeing what each month brings! Let me know what month you're interested in by posting it as a comment here or when you're posting your own illustration/response.
(This is an earlier illustration of mine but one of my favorites; watercolor on paper).

You've arrived at Watercolor Wednesdays! In July 2012, we'll be four years old! Our original members are marked with ** on the membership list below.
To JOIN Watercolor Wednesdays, post your email and a link to your art blog or art web site as a comment on this site. We'll visit your site and let you know by email if you've been accepted to Watercolor Wednesdays (We preview to maintain quality & safety on our site).

Please read the rules for this site:
(1) Watercolor Wednesdays is ONLY for children's book illustrators or those who are seriously working toward becoming a children's book illustrator.
(2) Watercolor Wednesdays now accepts all varieties of wash enhanced illustrations, including mixed media, oil washes, & computer generated watercolors (we celebrate creativity!).
(3) Each month, Watercolor Wednesdays provides a series of weekly prompts for its membership to illustrate.
(4) Watercolor Wednesdays will not accept any inappropriate illustrations. All illustrations should be appropriate for children ages 1 through 10.
(5) Artwork posted on Watercolor Wednesdays must be the work of the artist posting.

Vanessa Brantley Newton is the Winner for the Year!

It's Watercolor Wednesdays' Anniversary! We have been on line since July 2008! For the past 11 months, we have selected a monthly winner for Watercolor Wednesdays. This will be our twelfth winner (our anniversary winner!), and it seems very appropriate to select Vanessa. She has been the most consistent illustrator on the site. She is always very encouraging to our members, responding to every posting. She is a major force in maintaining a friendly and helpful site for all of us. Congratulations Vanessa and Thank You! You are terrific!
