"Umbrella"

    OOH Lisa, She looks so cute and fashionable in her rain gear. I love the fashion part of this. Very colorful. Great job as usual. Too sweet. Now I have to shopping and pick me up something.

    It's adorable, I love her sweet eyes and colorful raincoat. Nice touch having the rubber ducky floating on the puddle too. And I see you too like yellow umbrellas! :-)

    I really like your choice of colors. They are so bright and vibrant. Do you layer pencil or pastel on top of your watercolors?

    Yes, I LOVE yellow umbrellas and polka dots. ;)

    RE: the technique, I usually lay out my illustrations in a watercolor wash and then go over that with watercolor pencils and finally finish it off with prismapencils for some added details and highlights.

    yes :) i agree with Vanessa, it's so sweet raincoat! i would wear this one! i like polka dots too in this piece and really nice the reflection on the wet ground.
