New Beginnings

Chad had to give the Christmas tree one more big hug before his dad put it out on the curb.
His father knew that Christmas was really special to him, but didn't expect this kind of
reaction! Chad knew that the Christmas tree being put out for garbage day meant that
his two week holiday vacation was really over and that school was back in session!
Happy January everyone!

I would like to do a banner this year if May 10 is open. From the notice at the side it said 09 which I am guessing is a type o I do not know how to contact anyone and as you were my original contact I thought you might be able to pass this on. On the prompts for January I will do a total digital to stretch myself thanks to your inspiration.

Oh Miss V, you never disappoint!! I can totally relate to that little boy! I always feel a little sad taking the tree out to the curb. (Although, it is nice to be able to sprawl out on the living room floor again. heh heh!!)

You've done an outstanding job on this! I love the way dad is bundled up, and the pattern you used on the little boy's scarf is very cool! Well done friend.

Love the vintage look of the whole thing and the characters' poses. Well done!

We just took our tree down today! We played Christmas music and had popcorn after all the needles were swept up. Had to give ourselves some kind of incentive right?

Happy New Year WaWe Folks!

Great job, Vanessa! We do the real tree every year...don't know if it's eco cool or not but that's what they grow them for. It's been a tradition for a long time. Used to take my kids to live tree farm in the country, tromp around for an hour or so to find the right tree then home to decorate. Now, the children are grown and I'm taking my grandkids to the same farm. Again, great job...
Pat.
