This is a work-in-progress of my newly acquired pet, Jazz, a paint mare! I'm so happy to back in "the saddle" after many years since last being a horsewoman. (Prismacolor on Stonehenge)
This is going to be beautiful. A new Paint, lucky you! I haven't had a horse in so many years I can't even remember the last time I rode other than a trail ride in them mountains with the kids. I hope you will post it when it is finished :)
OOh My word how beautiful! OH My goodness Linda she's prefect. You are working those pencils lady for sure. Love all that delicious detail in your peace. Great work.
Looking really good, Linda. I hope you post some more of the stages on the way to finished art. I think it may be instructive to those (me) who have tried colored pencil and have not had a lot of success.

I like the colors, especially on the horse-it is well drawn.

It looks amazing already, I'm curious for the end result!! I think it's a beautiful drawn horse, all the proportions are perfectly correct! :)
