It's a bit late but in time for the start of school here. This is an illustration for an alphabet book in which every letter is made up of things in nature beggining with that letter--here, acorns, antlers, asters, ants etc. Not published yet!!

Group of Children
Does two count as a group? Inspiration vintage children's illustrations and the warm days of summer. On my blog I have the same illustration colored digitally I wonder what advice anyone could give me on the direction to go in?

Baboon (hot & sweaty)
Hello everyone!
It’s been a strange winter here, hot n’ dry (more so than usual) and everyone’s feeling it…
This illustration comes from a personal, work-in-progress kids book. Sadly, it’s one of those back-burner projects. I like to mix things up a bit, this is watercolour and digital collage.

Baby's First-Angelia McLean
I have a fond memory of my younger cousin dropping the ball of vanilla ice cream off her cone onto the ground and then just picking it up and plopping it back on the cone. We never worried about germs and the five second rule-a little dirt never hurt anyone. This baby is a little upset with his first ice cream cone experience. I doubt his mother would pick it up and give it back to him these days?
Keepin it Cool-Angelia McLean
We've been very hot here in Denver, Colorado as we've passed 17 days straight in the 90's. So, icecream seems to be on the dessert menu a lot in my family. Here is my interpretation for Watercolor Wedneday's prompt of "Keepin it Cool". Thanks!
