How to be a chicken!?

If I am not mistaken, then the challenge is about a children's fable?
If I'm right you should look this illustrator and author up Max Velthuijs (you may already have heard of him?). He is very popular in Belgium and Holland, the children really love his books! I read his books regularly in my class. He has also illustrated this story.
Spring vacation is over so I am back at school, and I have currently very little time to paint. So this is an illustration of a book that I've made last year. She is not red, she can’t do anything right, I think she doesn’t really know how the be a chicken!? But she is the number one in chasing away foxes!

Hello all,

Thanks for the posts! Every two years there is a huge international contest in my hometown for illustrators. You have to illustrate three pictures of your children's book. And therefore I've written and illustrated this story. The name of the book is "Snipje" translated that would be something like "penny" or "nip" from the word nipping.
