Winter Wildlife

"You can do it, Melvin!  Stand up to those big ole Meanies!"  Melvin heard Mama's voice in his head.  This time he would stand up to Thomas and Bart!

I like how you used grayish/blue wash to form the shape of the white snow...I will definitely try that next.

So sorry Michelle, I had two windows open and once and put the wrong comment on yours!!! Anyway, I truly love it. The expressions are just right and the snowman is wonderful!

Those two really do look like they're out to get Melvin. You did a great job capturing their emotions. I love the snowman too - so cute!

This is a great book idea--it's needed today. There's so much bullying in school & kids have a tough time even at a young age. Nice response.
