Pickles by Laura Taylor Mark
"Great it's burger night!" muttered Jeanette as she walked into the kitchen and spied the note on the fridge. She knew what that meant - her mom would be plunking a big, heaping bowl of those gross, green things on their dinner table. Her two younger brothers love pickles. They also loved nothing better than to wave them at her and bite into them making loud, crunching sounds. They know how much Jeanette HATES pickles!

A Sister for Mongo!
So excited to share my newest book, A Sister for Mongo! Just finished and sent this little one to the states yesterday... wanted to share a couple of the illustrations. The story is about the family's dog, Mongo, and how he's getting a little sister... (the book is being presented to the mother-to-be/mother of Mongo at the baby shower this weekend!)
Now, back to work on other projects (and getting to work on the challenges)....
(also using this image as my IF this week!...)

Bedtime Story
Who says all monsters are scary? And who says they'll keep kids up all night? A bedtime story from a monster is just what you need to get a good nights sleep.
