Does two count as a group? Inspiration vintage children's illustrations and the warm days of summer. On my blog I have the same illustration colored digitally I wonder what advice anyone could give me on the direction to go in?
lovely colors & great figures. I would suggest using a thick/thin line. As the line rises to the light, it disappears. It's stronger in the shadows. This way of working helps create a sense of 3-dimension on the figure. Hope that helps.

children are precious...
Lovely drawing Catharine, have you tried a combination of your watercolours and the digital version?
I have been doing a bit of both, lots to learn, thanks for your comments.
Hi!
You forgot to leave the mandatory entry with your name and e-mail. Thank you!

Thanks for your advice, I posted another watercolor to my blog yesterday that had a more intuitive line.
