I'm playing with using pencil value with watercolor washes over the value. This is because pencil & line are my first loves. Need some feedback: is it too muddy?--I think the color needs to be enhanced or needs to be stronger because it seems muted.
This turned out really nice. I love the colors, they are a muted, but I think it's nice. You could try uping the saturation a little, if you want it to be a touch more vivid. Either way, I think it's a fun illo - it has movement, and lots of action. (By the way, the dog turned out great!!)

This turned out just PREFECT! It's so alive with movement and color! What a great snowy day presentation. Excellent job on this.
