New Medium-Paper Angel

This is something I did on a free software program...computer art is definitely not a medium I am comfortable with. It took an unbelievable amount of time to do this but I sort of like it. Don't know if I will be doing it very much but you never know.

This is beautiful!! Really it is. Yes indeed working on the computer is a totally other monster. I have been working on computer now for ten years or more and yes it is really hard to get use to. I prefer to work with live media. It is something you really have to do all the time to really gain control over it. This is wonderful though. Great job!

I agree this is beautiful. It looks like a watercolour. What was the free program I would love to give it a go too.

Pat, you did a great job! Very well handled. I've tried computer art & it is sooo hard for me, especially without a drawing pad. Very nice image! Did you use the free program Gimp?

Thanks, everyone.
It is a program called Inkscape. I think I went to inkscape.com to download it. It seems to have some quirks in it but I have to say for free it works pretty well. Also, part of my problem with it is that my computer only has one half gig of ram. It seemed to take forever to get this far with this drawing but I think if I got a better computer and actually learned how to use the software properly, it wouldn't take so long.
Thanks, again.

The compliments coming from this very talented group of artists are unbelievably encouraging.

I need to make a correction...the site that the free software can be found is inkscape.org. Thanks to Sarah ZA for pointing that out.
