pets

Betty is not such an unusual pet, but she's fierce when it comes to protecting the home front! (I've got to get a computer drawing pad--Betty is done in traditional watercolor and brush, but her leash, bow, yellow markings, and the green worm were done with a mouse in Photoshop Elements, and it shakily took forever!)

he he he he he he! I love it! Chickey on a leash! Watch out!!!! This is so cool. I love the looseness of the illustration. Great work.

I LOVE it. I grew up on a chicken farm, so I can appreciate a good chicken when I see it. ha ha.
It's been forever since I've even stuck my head in this site. I've got 5 more weeks to go in the hardest class I've taken for 30 years. Then I hope to come back into this wonderful group more fully.

It's lovely, lots of character. The hand drawn and computer drawn bits mesh well. I only have a mouse (no graphics tablet) and have got 'mouse arm' from trying to draw with it this week so I know where you're coming from ... good job.

The loose lines are just perfect on this illustration, they fit perfect with the chickens feathers. Nice work, this is a nice character with feeling in it!
