I really like the themes for the month and I've enjoyed looking at some really splendid stuff, can't wait to see what the second half of the month will bear :)

Finding the Magic

A faerie holds a early morning sun beam in her hand and marvels at its perfection.

The wonder of it is it's elusiveness for it can not be captured only adored.

This is true of any real and precious treasure, as any wise faerie knows.

Four Frolicking Fairies

This was a fast piece (under an hour) done with a loose pen drawing and then gouache. I tried a couple of detailed fairy drawings but they are elusive little creatures. So, this was a last ditch effort to participate. As w/all improv, there's quite a bit of risk involved.
