Lovely. beautiful, awesome, fabu, wonderful, great, and comforting! You did your thing with this piece. I love the whole circle page design. Makes me want to break out and sing the Lion King's theme song "In the Circle of Life". Great work!

Oh Linda, this is so beautiful. I love the way you've nestled Thumbelina in with the little swallow. And the texture is awesome! Really cool piece!

There's a cool sweeping movement to this piece that almost has me breathing along with them Linda. V. cool. I wasn't sure about the circle at first, but it grew on me very quickly and I can 'totally' imagine this illustration placed on a page with the type moving in the same rhythm. Bravo!

Thanks everyone for the comments--I'd always wanted to try a tondo composition (Italian for circle) & when I was sketching for this prompt, it just came. Everyone has done such a great job on this one!

It's wonderful, Linda, I love the movement in the composition! The way they are so connected and the use of the circle makes their bond even stronger. And I've learned something new: Tonto composition! :-)
