Girly

I planned to do something else for girly, but I haven't finished it yet. I did finish this a few days ago and decided it worked well enough . . . although it probably works better for spring. It's black and white, but I painted it with black watercolor, so it counts, I guess. Black and white is actually something I really enjoy doing. Anyway, I'm currently in the process of reevaluating my portfolio and decided I needed/wanted a few more black and whites, so this is the result. Let me know your thoughts. And, if anyone is available, would anyone be willing to take a look at my current portfolio and give me your thoughts on what works and what doesn't? I'd be happy to do the same for you, if desired.

What fun! Very cute sketch & she looks like she's delighted with swinging! Also like the black & white...

This is about one of the sweetest illustrations I've seen. Her little face just says it all. It's wonderfully done!!! Black and white is just prefect! It's just a great illustration!!!!

What a cute illo Angela! It has great movement!

As for your portfolio, I think your illustrations are wonderful. However, you might want to include a few sequences so that the AD can see that you can carry a character from one scene to another. And maybe throw in one more from a different perspective (your bat illo looks great!) Other than that, I think the illos themselves look fun, and full of energy! Your portfolio is easy to navigate and straight forward which is nice.

She is really cute! Love how her toes are flexed like she is really pushing and pulling the motion of that swing, and having a great time doing it.
