space & membership....

Does anyone know why there's a huge amount of space on the right side of the blog between "New Members" and "March Challenges"???? Am I just seeing that on my computer or do you see it also? How do I correct it? Thanks.

TO POTENTIAL MEMBERS: I've gone back through comments on the site & have picked up membership requests. If I've missed someone, please let me know. To become a member, you need to be involved in the pursuit of children's book illustration in a newbie way or a professional way, you need to provide a blog address or web address which reflects this interest, and you need to provide an email address so that you can be linked to this site. Working in a water-based media was the original thought of Watercolor Wednesdays, but we now accept and celebrate most any media. We welcome anyone who loves and wants to be a part of the wonderful world of children's book illustration, sharing their work with a great group of illustrators. Thanks.

I see it and if it was my blog the correction is made through customize at the top right hand side.

Yep, it's on mine too. I really wanted to join Watercolor Wednesdays but I thought maybe I didn't have enough watercolor pieces on my blog. I do mostly digital now, but I do still do watercolors also, mostly as mixed media though. My blog is: http://puddleofcrumbs.blogpsot.com and I would still love to participate. My email and portfolio links are listed there. Thanks for considering me!

Try going into that item on your layout editing page, and "backspace" through the empty space at the end of your text until you get back to the very end of the last word. Use the arrow key to make sure you can't move down any further. Sometimes, if you've cut and pasted or something, the "space bar" code is hidden at the end of your text - you can't see it, but it's hidden in the code. You have to go back and delete it to get rid of empty space. (This is my very un-techno-savvy explanation, but I've experienced the same thing before on my blog, and that's how I fixed it.) Good luck!

I don't know if I am too late, but if there is a open spot (and you think I'm good enough) I would like to participate as well....
