Cookies anybody?

Happy Holidays WaWe! And Peeps!

Sorry I haven't been around much. I have far too much going on in my life right now and am just managing to tread water!

Kitchen renovation is heading into week three. Looks like it will be longer than 4 weeks because of the holiday next week. I would never ask anyone to work on a holiday weekend. Holidays should be sent with loved ones.

My book art is not progressing as quickly as the kitchen, however. I had no idea how distracting having the kitchen torn apart would be for me. I mean the studio is on the OTHER side of the house from the kitchen. But there is kitchen stuff everywhere and I keep tripping over it and not knowing where stuff is and it's making me a bit nuts.

And if that wasn't enough, I am having medical issues again. So I spent several of my days going to various doctors' offices for various tests. I am not pleased.

Above are the only holiday cookies I will be able to make this year. Enjoy them! So grateful to be a part of this wonderful group of artists.

PS. If any of you like Cyd Moore, I interviewed her on my blog yesterday. She is as fun in person as she is in her artwork. Please stop by and leave me a comment! Daily Art Food

Poor little wild thing.

Nobody will play with him.

This was a fun prompt. I just was silly.

About Blogs and CD covers

Hi All,

It's been a super busy summer. I have been slowly but steadily catching up on several years worth of projects from my to-do list that the enforced down time of this year have given me the luxury of doing. While they are not specifically watercolor, I thought I'd share the pretty pictures anyway.

I am also blogging about children's book illustrators with interviews, if you know of anyone interested give me a holler. I have recently added a follow my blog badge to my blog and would love it if you all would follow me. Daily Art Food. I have been doing facial expressions for my daily doodle challenge. Some of the images are quite amusing.

I finished a quilt I started back at the beginning of the decade. Eep!

I finished the CD cover but have to ask permission before I can show you guys. The album was supposed to go to press in mid September, but there have been some delays, so who knows when it will happen.

I'm so sorry!

I really, really meant to catch up. Honest I did. I don't know how the time keeps slipping away from me. (Yes I do -- I am an internet junkie -- but we won't go there.)

I have even lagged behind in my daily doodle challenge. My blog is where I have been posting the doodles. Check it out and leave a comment, please, even if it's only to say you've been there.

The boy crying is today's daily doodle. There are three rules. I have to use a felt tip marker. There is no erasing of mistaken lines allowed. It has to be completed in 30 minutes or less.

PS. The white text on the dark blue background is too hard for my old lady eyes to read Can we change it to something else? Please?
