my current work...

This is a detail of a 16" x 20" piece, showing what I've been doing lately, which is getting ready for an exhibition coming up in January. I work with an ink pen (without penciling first) and then I watercolor the image. I have four pieces in various stages of completion. My husband is also an artist & we're showing together with three other artist couples. So, between the show & teaching & other stuff I've really missed being an active part of Watercolor Wednesdays....

Is your hand tried? You have been hard at work for sure. This just filled with all kind of good things. I love it! No wonder your brain feels like mush. You've been working so hard. Great work. It's going to play off when you start adding your color!

This is amazing Linda, I love it. When I was little, my mum had these sets called DoodleArt (I was never allowed to touch them!). Basically they were kits with coloring pens. The image was black and white and you colored it in. Finally, when I was old enough Mum gave me one se hadn't worked on - I was SOOOO excited and nervous all at the same time. I didn't know where to start. Anyway your piece here reminds me of those sets - in a good way - it's so intricate and detailed. I wouldn't know where to start if I had to color it in .. it's beautiful!
