Nicholas was not informed of the difficulties involved when eating in zero gravity. Luckily he'd made a new friend with long arms and the ability to retrieve his floating lunch. The next obstacle.... how to get it through the glass of his oxygen bubble!
I'm hoping to add some color to this... but I didn't want to completely miss September!

love the preliminary & can't wait for the color! That monster is too cute--very hugable!
I love following this blog, and wishing I could draw. Illustrating children's books with photography isn't as whimsical, something I love about the illustrations in children's books. I think I'll learn Photoshop, and maybe I can make some effects I'll be happy with.
This is so much fun Roberta! Can't wait to see the color too.
You crack me up!!! This is so hilariously cute and funny! I love the sketch alone. I know it's going to so wonderful all colored in. Great illustration.
I am eager to see how you paint this.
