The Colors of Fall - sruble

Here's my painting for The Colors of Fall.

Fall Kids / Fall Colors

Fall Kids / Fall Colors

This is another attempt at layering. I like how it turned out, but I think I’ll do a bit more planning next time. Want to see how I got to the finished painting? I posted the process on my blog :)

I love when artist show the process! I really need to do more of this myself. It’s wonderful and such a great teaching tool as well. This is such a lovely display of Autumn fun! I love all the characters and the action as well. This would work as a spread for a story or an ad or a great portfolio peace. It just all works so well. The colors are beautiful and full of life and fun. You did a wonderful job on this piece. Now to remember all that I said here and say it at WW. See if you hadn’t even my brains I would have remember. Ahhh, what’s my name again??? he he he he!

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone! It's nice to hear, especially when I do kids, as I think my animals are stronger.

Vanessa - No brain eating, this time ;) I'd love to see a bit of your process. Let us know if you decide to post about it! Hope you have a good weekend too!

Thank you Monica! I post process pictures once in a while, because I like it so much (and learn so much) when other people post them.
