Colors of fall

Hi, everyone! It's been a long time, I know, but here's one little watercolor for fall. It's inspired by one of my favorite books, Leaves by David Ezra Stein. And just like this little fellow, I feel a bit sad and worried when the last leaf falls and we head into winter.

Awesome work as usual. I love the simplicity of the color palette.

What a super cute bunny!!! I love him, with his scarf and the expression on his face, just waiting for the leaf to fall.

Oh he is adorable and completely CUTE!!!! Oh this is just the kind of story you want to sit down with a hot cup of cocoa and a fuzzy warm blanket and read by the fire! I absolutely love it! Great job!

So cute. I love your colors! That little bunny's adorable pout is the sweetest.

I got to meet David at a Books of Wonder here in NYC a month or so ago. He's so quiet and unassuming!

I love it Monica! Have you ever read Marty Kelley's "Fall is Not Easy." I think your little tree may have been the one Marty was talking about. :) Adorable little bunny!
