Colors of Fall

Life has gotten more than a little nuts these last few months. I have been lurking and seeing everyone's lovely work, though! I've loved the prompts and plan on making some new pieces, even if they won't be posted because I love the ideas so much. :)

Here's my piece for the Colors of Fall. We don't get much in the way of fall color down here in Houston, but it's one of my favorite seasons, regardless.

Your little skunks look like they are having so much fun! I really like your fall leaves picture :)

BTW, I lived in Houston for a while. I loved it (not so much the heat - record breaking heat the summer I lived there). I still miss Houston and hope to get back again in the future.

Okay Skunks make me giggle!!! This is totally awesome. Look at them having all the fun there in the leaves. Great characters and colors. Love the whole composition and background. I really love the style as well and overall feeling to the piece. Great Job!

Skunks were an excellent choice for an autumn illustration.

Such fun characters & they're very animated! Houston is not too awfully far from where I live in north Louisiana & probably the weather is about the same--we've had so much rain lately that we're feeling moldy! (But this weekend is beautiful walking weather in New Orleans with my daughter).
love the skunks--they make perfect characters.

Skunks are quite cute, aren't they? And yours are so full of life and happiness. I like look on the little one's face in the back: all that work raking the leaves, and now they're everywhere! :-)
