The Legend of the Selkies

Here the little girl watches as the mysterious woman seems to converse with the seals. How is it? Tips, suggestions? (Heather, I'm counting on you for feedback! :) )

I'm going to draw some other scenes too... stay tuned....

I love the page composition and the colors. I think I would like to see more movement with the grass. It's beautiful the way the child is standing there looking on. Great emotion and feeling. I think I would also finish out the skyline and do some color there too.

Thanks V, those are very helpful suggestions. I sort of felt like something was missing, and couldn't quite place it.

Michelle, I really like how you've applied color here. Her red dress is very striking. And I love how the wind looks like it has movement. I can't think of anything in particular that I would change. Good work!

Michelle ~ I am not sure how the 'Selkie' fits into the Light House Project but we are going to post it to ,'Calling All Artists(Light House Contest) here at Google Blog.

Ramonty,
Thank you, but I'd rather not participate in the Light House project.
