"Umbrella"

'Umbrella' is indeed perfect to give the weather-topic a more positive touch.
My impression was trying to fly away with an umbrella, I've often dreamed about it as a child.
But it never happend, so I like to draw this topic again and again and again to make it happen on the paper. ;)

Makes me want to go out and pick up a few umbrella. She looks as if to take off up into the sky or something. This is so special and very, very well done.

I love the perspective on this illustration, Kristin. You can feel the wind blowing away, the girl on her tiptoes ready to take flight with her umbrella. I love her outfit too!

Kristin...I love this, especially the thought of flying away. The "puff" flowers are great. It's a very "lifting" image. :)

How sweet! I used to dream about that too when I was a kid. I still believe it will happen one day! Hehe!

I absolutely adore this painting - everything about it is wonderful...and magical - the colors, the flying dandelion clocks, the umbrella - and I do think it's just a matter of time before she flies too:-) really wonderful and enchanting illustration!

Lovely composition and point of view. I used to try to fly with umbrellas too--but they always turned inside out when I jumped off of stuff!
