In Memory of Aesop

So this illo has nothing to do with any of Aesop's fables, except that they're usually about animals and they always have a moral. The moral to this story? Always be kind and give directions to those who are lost and in need.

yes it would be the moral of this story - and the giraffe would take this lost little mouse to his cousin :)

love so much the perspective and their expressions are great!

I like it! It's a fun idea for you to make your own fable in memory of Aesop. I try to adhere to your moral because people always ask me for directions. It's great when I know the answer. I feel bad when I don't know the answer, or worse when I realize I sent them in the wrong direction (luckily that's only happened a couple of times).

Great painting - very cute giraffe and mouse!

Cool perspective. Surprised that there isn't a giraffe fable. There is now!

Very nice! True about the moral & animals--that's why I always loved Aesops' tales. Anything with animals for me. Love the giraffe!
