very nostalgic...very old world looking...like it a lot. How did you do the background if not in Watercolor? It's very nice & looks like cloth.

Is the background done in color pencil? It looks nice too, and I agree with Linda, it has a nice, antique feel to it. I love the frame you drew around your characters, the sun and the bird, looks lovely.

How funny! I just had my girls watch their first Pippi movie. They loved it. I showed them your painting and they loved it too. Such great characters. I love how you did Pippi, especially her shoes.
