You did Mr. Sendak proud. Love the cupcake.
So cute, so cute, so cute! He would indeed be proud!
That's great, Vanessa!
Great interpretation of Sendak's book and characters, Vanessa!I haven't seen the movie yet, though I have a feeling I will feel the same way as you and like the book better.Have you all seen this blog? It shows different interpretations, by a variety of artists, of this great classic: http://www.terribleyelloweyes.com/Very cool, your illo would fit right in, Vanessa!
Awesome tribute to a great book! I really loved the movie despite it being sad, such a moving story. I really like your take on the characters.
I like. I like very muchly!
I love your homage V!! It is wonderful! I heard that the movie wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy. I always read the story in the warm and fuzzy way, whether Mr. Sendak meant for it to be read that way or not. I took the girls to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs instead. :)(And I agree with Lyon, LOVE the cupcake!!)
I love your wild things Vanessa! Sorry the movie made you sad. I really liked it, even though there were sad bits. Hope you enjoyed it even thought it made you sad!
